BRAZILIAN PEEL ----> REVIEW

OK so i must have been out of my mind crazy for doing this to my very sensitive skin, but I'm a sucker when it comes to skin-care products. I love to try  just about every and anything that promises clear, glowing skin. If its something new, I wanna try it. So I received a sample of the Brazilian Peel from my bestie but decided to put it far away in my product drawer because of my sensitive skin (which wasn't always that way but that's another story). Anyways i recently found it and decided to try it. First things first you HAVE TO HAVE TO follow the instructions, which i found on the web. Apparently you're supposed to leave it on your face for 10mins after cleanse then rinse off. But I left it on for 7mins because the tingling sensation was freaking me out.
I must say that the product delivered everything it said it would even in just one use. My skin  was like a new born baby's. Very soft and glowing for about 3days. I had to use 1% hydrocortisone after the peel as precautionary measures, but for the most part I really love this stuff.

PRODUCT TIPS AND USAGE-----> (whenever using a product with acid in it, it is very important to follow the label instructions to avoid burning)

Steps-1. Wash face then pat dry.
          2. Apply product. Its best not to use all of it at once. Using each syringe in two-part usage works best because you're not over using too much acid product on your face.
          3. Leave on for at least 5mins then rinse.
          4. Always moisturize after. For does with sensitive 1% Hydrocortisone cream works best to prevent irritation.
          5. Enjoy beautiful skin and smile-------:)

Lippin It- Fav Lipsticks of the Moment

I love love lipsticks. Its the only form of makeup that's quick and easy to use, and the only thing that ties your whole look..(meaning face) together. I find myself obsessed with the new COVERGIRL collection. I recently got a coupon (like i needed it) and decided to buy one from the Queen Collection in powderpuff pink. Instant LOVE HERE! The color was love at first sight, absolutely the most perfect pink for fall. Its moisturizing but very pigmented at the same time. I just love love love it.

CoverGirl powderpuff pink  ($7.99)

Another fav lipstick and probably number one on my list is MAC Ruby Woo. I just love it. For the record I am by far not a red lipstick wearer but that color is the perfect red for every skin tone. Its on the matte side, which I love, but add gloss and its perfectly moisturizing.

Quick tip...when wearing Ruby Woo always apply lip balm first to moisturize lips then color. To prevent lip color bleeding, using a red lip pencil works perfectly help keep color in place. Use pencil to outline lips then add lipstick. To prevent the drying effect that happens with matte lipstick, using a lip balm on the inside of the lips while also patting it on the lips works perfectly to soften and moisturize your lips.

GUCCI GOLD GLAMOUR

God gave us life, but GUCCI gave us the goodness. That is to be said of the Spring 2012 runway show in Milan, where Frida Giannini (GUCCI's creative director) out-did herself as always. This awe-inspiring show, displayed everything that the mega design house is know for; all things glamorous and fabulous 101. With intricate palette of black and gold, the Spring 2012 runway was a dazzle of lux dresses and outfits that calls for a traffic stopping moment. My favorite by far was the fact that each models hair pretty much matched the scheme of the whole line for the show. Now that's a glamazon moment for you :)

BABY GLOW- QUEEN B

HAVING A BABY NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD. Almost makes me want to have one (ahh ahh NOT). But she looks so beautiful. :) CONGRATS TO THE Queen B.

GRAPE-ING GORGEOUS

Here's something new i just read. So apparently grapes have become more than just a really healthy snack. Now its considered as a natural cleanser (yahhhhh au natural). According to an article published in FITNESS MAGAZINE, grapes may be used as a gentle exfoliating substances. Well the article advise that you can use the grape pulps, which contain tartaric and malic acids, to gently cleans and refresh the skin. Hmmmmmm sounds  like a yummy idea to me.

FACIAL TIP -: Mash a handful of grapes in a bowl and rub into skin. Leave for 15 mins then rinse. Free radical fighting resveratrol, which is found in grapes,  have been shown to help fight against environmental damage and boost radiance.

Fall 2011 + Giambattista Valli = LOVE

I absolutely love LOVE everything this man do with fabrics. Every piece is like a work of art going down the runway. Its almost breath-taking for me just to watch the video. Chances are I really can't afford anything, but a girl can always dream right! I mean that is what fashion is for. I can dream and relish in all my fantasies of beautiful gowns and garments, while purchasing the ones i can afford that still looks fabulous. Fall 2011 is looking pretty darn good to me so far :)  bisou bisou

Extend an OLIVE Branch - HAIR CARE TIPS

I hate, hate, hates it when my hair looks dry, feels dry, and just absolutely a mess. One thing i can say definitely save me and my hair sanity is  extra virgin OLIVE OIL. I don't know what life would ever be like without it. I mean really. I cook with it and now I use it in my hair. Just a few tiny drops after a wash, and that's all I need. That and conditioner of course. But really its absolutely amazing for smoothing the hair cuticle leaving hair looking less dry and damage.

For relaxed, chemically treated hair, a teaspoon rubbed in palms and added to hair is great to add to your hair regimen.

For fine damage hair, just a tiny drop added to hair ends is all you need. Too much will make hair look flat, greasy and lifeless.

LAGERFELD Impluse

Fashion entices my every being. My blood rushes and i almost gets this intensive high when i see something beautiful, well made, and drop dead fabulous. That being said, fashion however does not entices my wallet. Its never easy to shell out thousands of dollars on any designer piece. Especially  high fashion like Chanel. Fortunately the god of the fashion realm himself, Karl Lagerfeld answers the call of many recessionistas who wants to inject a little high fashion in their DNA.

BRUSH RAVE

Stippling brushes are by far one of the most under-rated make-up brushes out there. The bristles, especially those that are duo fiber gives foundation application a flawless finish while providing a light airy feeling. The bristles are perfect because it doesn't soak up as much foundation as a regular foundation brush but somehow manages to provide seamless coverage.

Personal Favorite: E.L.F Studio Stipple Brush ($3.00)
Cheap and easy to use. Its prefect to use for light coverage.
Its also can be used to apply the lightest blush application on the
apples of you cheek. :)

FEED YOUR SKIN

Eating your way to good overall health is one thing. But what about eating your way to beauty. Sounds weird but certain foods eaten and applied topically, may actually help the overall skin look clear and evenly toned. Here are a few:

  • Blueberries - These are by far one of the most antioxidant rich foods at your supermarket (surprise surprise) and have been shown to help fight against wrinkles and acne. Blueberries nutritionally have a high source of vitamin A which helps fight free-radicals and protect the skin. For more nutritional facts check this out. (http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fruits-and-fruit-juices/1851/2)

  • Lemon Juice- Here's one trick, instead of hydroquionone creams (bleaching creams), try lemon juice to break-up brown spots and marks left behind by acne. Lemon juice is a source vitamin C which as been proven by dermatologist to help lightening acne mark.

  • Yogurt- Beside providing a great source of calcium, yogurt is also a great for moisturizing and calming the skin. For dry skin, a plain yogurt mask is a pretty helpful. The lactic acid in yogurt helps to exfoliate dead layers of skin cells, which in turn allows the moisturizing properties of the yogurt to sink in.

  • Sugar- By now I'm expecting eyebrows raised, but sugar surprisingly is a fantastic exfoliating substance. Mix with your favorite body or facial cleanser, it acts as a exfoliating scrub. With glycolic acid, it slug all that nasty dead skin on your body. It also works magic as a foot scrub to help soften callus.

Katy Perry - Thinking Of You

THE VIDEO I CAN'T STOP WATCHING.......

Not because i'm missing any particular ex's (or maybe...wink wink), but because i am in LOVE with Katy Perry's make-up. The 40's, 50's and 60's style of dressing is just absolutely FABULOUS. Women back then seem to have this painstaking perfect way of dressing. Hair, make-up and just about everything in place. Crazy RIGHT!

MY FIRST

Hi Everyone,
Seeing that i could not find a more befitting title off hand' i decided to name this little thing "MY FIRST". Now now please get your dirty minds out of the gutters. No naughty revelation here, just my poor lil thoughts on the things that interests me, ticks me and just plain grind my gears. But more importantly i want to crave my own little spot on this grandiose thing acronym WWW.. Anyways i'm the kinda girl that as always been fascinated with all things glamorous (hence the GLAM factor) and just about any and everything fashionable and fun. And so my love affair begins with this blog, and with the many glamazons out there in this small small world.
